Automatic renewal terms

Monthly and quarterly memberships renew at the end of each billing period, charged at that tier's price at the time of renewal, not necessarily the price you originally signed up at.

Prepaid annual memberships renew once a year for another full term at the discounted annual rate.

One-time box purchases never renew, and neither does a one-time gift. Every other gift (monthly, quarterly, or prepaid annual) renews exactly like the memberships above, at the same cadence it was given: billed to the buyer's own card, never the recipient's, until the buyer cancels. The recipient can always start their own, entirely separate membership from their account at any time.

For a prepaid annual membership, we email the amount and the exact renewal date 30 days before it's charged.
